My first major mosaic work is a recreation of the famous Girl with a Pearl Earring by the dutch master painter Vermeer. It is one of my favorite paintings.
For this work I created a web page that finds the closest approximate LEGO color for each pixel in an image. The converter app isn’t perfect thought and the making of this mosaic required some major changes and little adjustments along the way.
